‘Tis the Saison! Slipstream Brewing awarded Queensland’s best beer!

Our team are STOKED to have won a slew of trophies at the 2025 Royal Queensland Beer Awards, including the overall award for Grand Champion Beer with our much-loved Classic Saison.

Since 2019, the Royal Queensland Beer Awards have celebrated excellence in brewing, allowing brewers from all over Australia to present their beers for judging by a large panel of experts. Beers are assessed ‘blind’, with the judges having no knowledge of the brewery or each particular beer, and are judged on flavour, aroma, mouthfeel and the beer’s alignment with style guidelines, meaning it’s completely based on technical skill and merit.

This year’s awards judged 530 entries from 67 Australian breweries over several days, with trophies presented to the best in class across different beer styles. Trophy winning beers are then assessed again for the Grand Champion Trophy.

In all, Slipstream won a massive FIVE trophies at these prestigious awards…
